I can provide lower level editing
such as: simple formatting; proofreading at the word level; and
checking for grammar, punctuation, and usage at the sentence level.
I can also provide higher level
editing such as: improving writing style for consistency; evaluating
content to ensure that information follows a logical order and
supports the purpose of the document; and developing new content.
You'll need the Adobe Acrobat PDF Reader
(download
free) to view these documents.
COPYMARKING
I used standard
copymarking symbols to edit a hardcopy manuscript and also
used on-screen markup to produce an online version. These documents
were developed in Microsoft Word 2000; both Microsoft
Word and Adobe Acrobat allow on-screen
markup.
"This
is an outstanding style sheet, both visually and in content. I'd
like to use this as a model. I could certainly use this in my work."
STYLE SHEET
A style sheet is a useful tool that codifies the
conventions of grammar, usage, spelling, and punctuation to ensure
that documentation within a company (or department or group) is
consistent from document to document, especially when there may
be several writers.

I developed this style sheet
based on analyzing several similar documents. This document was
developed in Microsoft Word 2000.
