        PORTFOLIO: WRITING

Technical writing is about clearly tranferring information—crisp clear writing is one of my key skills. You'll need the Adobe Acrobat PDF Reader (download free) to view these documents.
"This has been an impressive project in both scope and depth. You've had to create a complete doc with SMEs, which can be difficult and faced the daunting task of defining (and sticking to) a scope statement ... Excellent work!"

      PROCEDURE
      Palomar Technologies
I was the team lead on a project to revise an internal procedure for Palomar Technologies. Palomar Technologies is a world-leading semiconductor capital equipment designer and manufacturer. This procedure tracks the complete sales order process, which is the major focus of company activity and the main source of generated revenue. To fit with Palomar's existing document base, this document was developed in Microsoft Word 2000.

      REPORT
        Cloud 9 Shuttle Inc
I was the team lead on a project to recommend improvements to the Cloud 9 Shuttle Agent Reservation Manual. Cloud 9 Shuttle Inc is dedicated to being the best ground transportation service for residents and visitors in San Diego county. Agents work in a fast paced environment where they need to be able to process reservations quickly and accurately. This document was developed in Microsoft Word 2000.

See recommendation report (PDF 96 kB).

        BOOK REVIEW
I wrote a book review on the "Harvard Business Review on Knowledge Management". A review is a critical evaluation of a text, object, or event. Knowledge management is a key part of a company's strategy for success where knowledge generated in the workplace is preserved and shared with all employees. While big decisions can make or break a company, it's the little decisions and steps taken every day that add up to a more efficient and effective workplace. This document was developed in Microsoft Word 2000.
